A hybrid of oolong and black tea, this innovative Taiwanese tea offers a layered profile—merging the warm, roasted depth of black tea with richer, more pronounced fruity notes. A perfect companion for calm middays, mindful pauses, and unwinding evenings.

Brewing Instructions

How to Prepare

   Hot brew:

    • Heat water to about 100°C (just after boiling)

    • Use 1 teaspoon (2g) of tea leaves per cup (about 250ml)

    • Steep for 5 minutes depending on your taste; shorter for lighter flavour, longer for stronger

   Cold brew:

    • Add 8g of tea leaves to 1L of cold water

    • Cover and place in the refrigerator for 8-10 hours (overnight works great)

   Tips:

    • Pour out all the tea, leaving no liquid behind to keep the leaves fresh
    • Same leaves can be re-steeped 1-2 times, adjusting steeping time to your preference; for cold brew, might need longer steeping times for later rounds; flavour evolves beautifully with each brew.

Storage

    • Store in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

    • For longer freshness, you can keep tea in the refrigerator (especially green tea)—just make sure it’s sealed tightly.

    • Keep your tea in an airtight container to protect it from moisture and odors.
